Paddle Pamlico - A Model Other Shops Should Emulate

My experiences with Paddle Pamlico go back two years now, and has surpassed my expectations and hopes with each and every single encounter.

They have been consistently accessible by phone and by email, welcomed me to their shop for after hours test paddles in a pinch, mailed items on my gear wishlist to me across the country, gone to great lengths to have a boat custom measured, doublechecked, and then built for me in Canada, and even coordinated with other Boreal kayak dealers to have that custom boat shipped across the US so that we could stick to a kayak-experienced delivery method rather than be at the mercy of conventional freight carriers.

I will be thinking fondly of Pamlico every time I take my new rig out for sunrise or sunset spins on the local lakes. There's zero question in my mind that I would go to Paddle Pamlico, again and again in the future -- be it for advice, purchase of gear or a boat, or simply a friendly encounter. I cannot imagine a more patient, knowledgeable, customer-oriented, and kind pair of shopowners and paddle store -- they should be a model for other shops to aim for!
